  • How to Make Emails Go to Your Inbox Instead of Spam

    1. Mark the Email as “Not Spam”

Every email service has this option:
    • Go to your Spam/Junk folder
    • Open the email you want
    • Click “Not spam”, “Move to Inbox”, or “Report as not junk”
    This retrains your email provider.

📌 2. Add the Sender to Your Contacts

    This is the strongest signal.
    • Add the sender’s full email to your Contacts or Address Book
(Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, all providers use this to whitelist senders.)

    📌 3. Create a Filter / Rule

Tell your email service to ALWAYS keep it in your inbox.

    Gmail

    1. Click the gear (Settings)
    2. Go to See all settings
    3. Click Filters and Blocked Addresses
    4. Create a New Filter
    5. Enter the sender’s email
    6. Click Never send to Spam

    Outlook

    1. Settings → Mail → Rules
    2. Add a rule:
      • “From: [email]” → Move to Inbox

    Yahoo

    1. Settings → Filters
    2. Add a filter with the sender’s email
    3. Choose Inbox as the destination

📌 4. Check for “Promotions” or “Updates” (Gmail Only)

Sometimes the email isn’t in spam — it’s in another tab.
    • Drag the email to Primary
    • Click “Yes” when Gmail asks if this should always apply.
